The COVID-19 pandemic has had far-reaching implications for individuals, societies, and economies, disrupting established patterns in education, employment, and career trajectories. This paper explores a narrative review of the literature that studied the graduates’ employability post pandemic. Narrative review is suitable to be applied in this study, as it tends to achieve exploratory research where a new or emerging field is explored, providing holistic perspective in which a wide range of studies is summarized, consequently synthesizing diverse evidence that highlight the trends across various studies. This review highlights the multifaceted challenges facing Malaysian graduates, emphasizing the far-reaching circumstance of the COVID-19 pandemic on graduates' employment dynamics. It underscores disparities in the quality of employment, wage gaps, and the vulnerability of workers in informal sectors. A range of factors impacting employability can be considered, including self-efficacy, curriculum support, employability skills development, and work placement learning. The study also explores the impact of postgraduate studies on employment prospects, gender disparities in employability skills, and the significance of soft skills and non-technical skills in aviation careers. Furthermore, it delves into how graduates' knowledge and soft skills development vary by education level and how emerging concepts like Industry 5.0 are reshaping the employment landscape. Confronting globalization and evolving labor market dynamics, graduates must embrace self-development and adaptability so forth meeting the changing needs of the job market.

The global COVID‐19 outbreak severely hampered the growth of the global economy, prompting the implementation of the strictest prevention policies in China. Establishing a significant relationship between changes in nighttime light and COVID‐19 lockdowns from a geospatial perspective is essential. In light of nighttime light remote sensing, we evaluated the spatiotemporal dynamic effects of COVID‐19 city lockdowns on human activity intensity in the Zhengzhou region. Prior to the COVID‐19 outbreak, nighttime light in the Zhengzhou region maintained a significant growth trend, even under regular control measures. However, following the October 2022 COVID‐19 lockdown, nighttime light experienced a substantial decrease. In the central area of Zhengzhou, nighttime light decreased by at least 18% compared to pre‐lockdown levels, while in the sub‐center, the decrease was around 14%. The areas where nighttime light decreased the most in the central region were primarily within a 15 km radius, while in the sub‐center, the decrease was concentrated within a 5 km radius. These changes in both statistical data and nighttime light underscored the significant impact of the COVID‐19 lockdown on economic activities in the Zhengzhou region.

Multihazards at important tourism locations are identified for sustainable tourism. The Karst area has tourism assets that have the potential for multi-hazard disasters. This study aims to identify multihazards at tourism sites in the Citatah Karst Area, West Bandung Regency. Tourism locations are identified using a survey method. Multihazards are analyzed using a Geographic Information System (GIS) with map product output. Based on the analysis, there are four types of disasters at 13 tourist sites in the Citatah Karst Area. The relative landslide hazard lies in the southwest Karst Citatah area, which has 13 potentially dangerous tourism sites. The earthquake hazard lies in the southeast and northwest areas with 13 potentially dangerous tourism locations. The danger of flooding lies in the Citarum river basin southwest of the Citatah Karst, with three potentially dangerous tourist sites. The potential for extreme weather hazards does not dominate the Citatah Karst Area, so it is relatively safe. However, several locations are included in the high category, namely in the southeast and northwest of the Citatah Karst Area. Each Multihazard at a tourism location is divided into four classifications: not affected, low, medium, and high. This research can be helpful in the development of disaster-based sustainable tourism potential.
