Nanocomposite coatings based on alkyd resin with TiO2 and SiO2 nanoparticles

Abstract: Alkyd resin based nanocomposite coatings filled with different content of silicon oxide (SiO 2 ) and titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) nanoparticles (2 and 4 wt / wt %) were prepared by solvent casting method. Characterization of the prepared nanocomposite coatings was performed by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
