Abstract

RESUMO -(Myxomycetes doParque Palavras-chave -Myxomycetes, Parques estaduais, cerrado, PiauíABSTRACT -(Myxomycetes of the Parque Zoobotânico -Teresina, Piauí, Brazil). Aiming to increase the knowledge about the myxobiota of Piauí State, Brazil, collections were done in the undertaken Zoobotanical Park of Teresina (05° 05' 12'' S, 42° 48' 48'' WG). The vegetation of the Park is a savanna ("cerradão") with "cocais" forest representative, offering substrates potentially favorable to the development of Myxomycetes. Sporocarps were collected in the rainy season (March to June 1999), identified and deposited at the UFP herbarium (Federal University of Pernambuco).
