Myositis ossificans: A rare location in the foot. Report of a case and review of literature

Abstract: HighlightsMyositis ossificans occurrence in the foot is rare.Myositis ossificans can be confused with malignant lesions in an uncommon locations such as the foot.The rare location of the lesion necessitated histopathological assessment to distinguish the lesion from extraskeletal osteosarcoma.
