Myocardial Fibrosis as a Pathway of Prediction of Ventricular Arrhythmias and Sudden Cardiac Death in Patients With Nonischemic Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Abstract: The mechanism of sudden cardiac death (SCD) in patients with nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (NIDCM) is mostly due to sustained ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation.
