AbstrakPenelitian yang berjudul optimalisasi penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berinkuiri dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa melalui modul berbasis inkuiri bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis inkuiri bermuatan nilai karakter dan nilai sains pada mata kuliah Anatomi Tumbuhan pada sub konsep organ daun. Metode penelitiannya adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (research and develovment), yang meliputi empat tahap utama yiatu: pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Dari hasil validasi terhadap modul yang sudah dikembangkan diketahui bahwa pada setiap aspek uji kelayakan yang meliputi aspek penyajian, bahasa dan isi modul, dinilai bahwa modul yang sudah dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan produk. Dari hasil uji efektifitas modul, diperoleh rata rata N-gain penguasaan konsep= 0,64 dengan kriteria peningkatan sedang, persentase penguasaan kemampuan berinkuiri sebesar 71,9% dan persentase kemunculan sikap ilmiah sebesar 71%. Hasil uji efektifitas tersebut menunjukan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan berinkuiri dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: modul berbasis inkuiri, penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berinkuiri, dan sikap ilmiah
AbstractThe study, entitled optimization of conceptual understandings, inquiry skills, and scientific attitude of student through inquiry-based module, aims to develop inquiry-based module containing character and scientific value in Plant Antomy, especially at sub-concept leaf organ. The research method is a method of research and development, which consists of four main stages. They are definition, design, development, and distribution. Based on the validation results of the developed module has known that in every aspects of feasibility test consisting layout, language, and content of the module are evaluated that this module already has completed the criteria of product feasibility. Based on the effectiveness test of module, gained an average of N-gain conceptual undestandings = 0,64 with modest increasing criteria, the percentage of inquiry skill understanding is 71,9%, and the percentage of scintific attitudes is 71%. The effectiveness test showed that the developed module is effective to improve knowledges,inquiry skills, and scientific attitudes of students.Keyword: inquiry based module, conceptual understanding, inquiry skill, and scientific attitude
