Multiple filamentation of femtosecond laser pulses

Abstract

The formation of fluorescent channels with color centers in LiF crystals under the action of the multiple filamentation of femtosecond laser pulses is studied experimentally and theoretically for pulse pow ers around four orders of magnitude higher than the critical self focusing value.
