Multi-phase flow assessment for the fermentation process in mono-substrate reactor with skeleton bed

Abstract: The selected techniques were reviewed and their technological aspects were characterized in the context of multi-phase flow for biogas production. The conditions of anaerobic fermentation for pig slurry in a mono-substrate reactor with skeleton bed were analysed. The required technical and technological criteria for producing raw biogas were indicated. Design and construction of the mono-substrate model, biogas flow reactor, developed for cooperation with livestock buildings of various sizes and power from 2.5… Show more

“…Biogas plants for a substrate of agricultural origin, including monosubstrate-based plants for animal slurry or with the prevailing slurry content, have recently been developing dynamically [27][28][29][30]. The potential for producing biogas and energy from natural fertilizers is very high [12,[31][32][33][34].…”

“…During the methane production by fermentation, biogas is produced which is discharged into the biogas tank via a pipe. Biogas is also produced when the manure ( 3) is stored in the chamber (7). Biogas is discharged from each sector via pipe (8).…”

“…The biogas production equipment includes a silo-leaching chamber (7), divided into hermetically closed sectors, in which containers (5) are filled with manure (3) and hermetically closed for a period of about 30 d. The floors in the containers (5) are openwork. An outflow ( 9) is made in the floor of each of the sectors of the chamber (7). The outflow is connected by the discharge pipe (10) directed to the organic fraction tank (11).…”
