Multi-Agent Simulation of Safe Livability and Sustainable Development in Cities

Abstract: Urban livability is an important factor affecting the sustainable development of modern cities. Safe livability is an important part of urban livability. In view of this, this paper takes security as an example, and based on the actual data of Futian District, Shenzhen City, China, establishes a multi-agent simulation model of urban safe livability. The dynamic interaction feedback mechanism between decision-making behaviors of residents and urban safe livability under the influence of environment and policies… Show more

“…The article [9] proposes a multi-agent simulation model of the feedback mechanism of dynamic interaction between the behavior of residents when making decisions and the safety of life in the city under the influence of the environment and politics. But the social sustainability of the city is at the forefront.…”

“…With the acceleration of urbanisation worldwide, growing attention has been given by scholars and practitioners to making cities better places in which to live. The question of liveability involves various factors, including but not limited to government policies, residents' behaviours and the allocation of facilities (Pan et al , 2020a, b). ABM simulation is suitable to study relevant issues of urban residents' behaviours, which can be used to guide land-use planning.…”
