Abstract: Resumo Exploro as relações do cantor de funk carioca Mr. Catra com o Judaísmo para repensar a noção de margem, tomando-a como espaço-tempo propício para a emergência de processos de subjetivação específicos, particularmente os artísticos. Argumento que a conversão informal de Mr. Catra ao Judaísmo é a culminância de uma vida que se constitui junto à uma vontade pela margem, manifesta ainda no trânsito entre sua residência e a favela e em sua filiação artística.
