Abstract: ZusammenfassungDie traditionelle Stereotypenforschung ist geprägt von wechselnden Konjunkturen bei der Bewertung ethnischer Stereotypen. Einerseits werden sie als sprachlicher Ausdruck von Vorurteilen, andererseits als notwendige kognitive Orientierungen betrachtet.
