“…It can be stated that in order to increase the moral sensitivity of the nurses, factors that negatively affect sensitivity should be identified and precautions should be taken against these factors. Nora et al 29 conducted a study determining the ethical sensitivity of the primary health care nurses (n ¼ 100) and found out that nurses' ethical sensitivity score was 4.5 (out of 7), and it was stated that a moderate level of ethical sensitivity decreases the quality of preventive health services. In our study, it was found that as the nurses' scores regarding the CBI-24 sub-scales of assurance and knowledgeskill increased, their ethical sensitivity levels also increased, and as the scores obtained from ESQ sub-scales of providing benefit, holistic approach, orientation, and ESQ total score increased, the scores regarding the nurses' perception of caring quality also increased.…”

“…(11) Results demonstrated that there is no harmony between actions that are recommended and conducted at the Hansen's disease Control Program, which is not coherent with the social practice of nursing. (12) The nurses began conducting more general activities, focused on receiving all service users, not only focusing on specific Hansen's disease Control Program activities. It seems to be harder to transcend the normative dimension toward the creation of ties, due to the distancing resulting from the work routines in the FHS, which prioritizes low-risk cases that present no intercurrences.…”

“…One study (12) addressing Iranian nurses reports that ethical problems related to interpersonal relationships both within the staff and within the inter-professional team, hinder the development of moral sensitivity that would enable them to cope with dilemmas. Therefore, workers experience discomfort, distress, difficulty in adapting to clinical settings, and disqualification of nursing care delivery (17)(18) .…”
