Abstract:In this paper, the Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation is proposed to evaluate the response of the 10 B doped thermal neutron sensitive microchannel plate (nMCP). The detection efficiency and the spatial resolution of the nMCP in various geometrical configurations are simulated.
