Monitoring of health of urban population

Abstract

Monitoring of health of the population is defined as system organizational and technical and preventive actions providing supervision over a state of health of the population, its assessment and forecasting, and also the actions focused on identification, prevention and elimination of influence of harmful factors of habitat (risk factors) on population health. This method is primary means of assessment of shifts in health of the population, conditions of medical care and formation of data on incidence on this basis that is necessary for effective work of treatment and prevention institution.
