El presente trabajo busca ofrecer un panorama sobre la Estrategia de Exportación Creativa implementada por el gobierno de Canadá en 2018, para potenciar sus exportaciones en el sector de las industrias creativas. El trabajo ofrece antecedentes sobre las estrategias de exportación creativas de otros países junto con el rol de los gobiernos. De igual forma, se esbozan algunos elementos para poder considerar a la estrategia de Exportación Creativa de Canadá como herramienta de relaciones culturales y las implicaciones que tiene en el marco más amplio de las industrias creativas en el contexto canadiense.
