MON-531 Pattern of Health-Related Quality of Life Six Months after Parathyroidectomy in Patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 and Main Modifying Factors

Abstract: Background: Surgery is the elective therapy for primary hyperparathyroidism (HPT) in patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1). As MEN1 mutation carriers invariably will develop HPT up to 50 years, the annual periodic screening have allowed an early diagnosis of HPT in MEN1 syndrome, frequently before manifestation of clinical symptoms.
