Abstract:Enterococci are gram-positive bacteria and the source of recurrent nosocomial infections with high levels of antibiotic resistance (1), of which we can name resistance to cephalosporins, aminoglycosides, monobactams, penicillinase resistance penicillins, and most importantly, vancomycin (2).
