Application of clinoptilolite zeolite as a carrier of quercetin [29] led to higher cytotoxicity especially for those with particle size up to 200 µm and can be used for treatment of different tumor cell lines. The effect of quercetin alone or in complex with NH 2 -MSN (amino modified Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles) on proliferation of JR8 human melanoma cells was evaluated by Berlier et al [31] and the results show that the complex with NH 2 -MSN is more effective than quercetin alone, causing about 50% inhibition of cell proliferation.…”
