Modelling and Simulation of Quality Risk Forecasting in a Supply Chain

Abstract: In recent years, the quality risks in supply chain are frequently encountered by Chinese's manufacturing enterprises, the aim of the paper is to present a manufacturer perspective methodology of forecasting quality risks in supply chain. To do it, firstly, we innovatively propose achieving factors of quality risks by the house of quality of quality function deployment. Secondly, an optimal selection approach regarding support vector machine parameters is suggested based on chaos particle swarm optimization, an… Show more

“…From the manufacturer's perspective, Liu and Xiong proposed a method for predicting quality risks in the supply chain. ey deployed quality houses through quality functions to realize quality risk factors by using support vector machines to predict [16]. Ouyang studied the diffusion and identification of quality risk in the supply chain of dairy products based on CN [17].…”

“…Because of the complexity of quality risks in supply chain, the definitions are diverse from the different perspective of researchers. Based on previous studies, the quality risks refer to the probability of negative events caused by the conflict of quality requirements and quality reality [16]. And the quality risks are the sum of quality risks of all aspects in a supply chain [34].…”

“…The work that has been done on the subject of PD detection using classification algorithms is very diverse. Classification algorithms and other intelligent methods are offering experts support tools for predictions [25,26,27], although it is only possible to make accurate predictions to a certain degree [28]. There are a lot of studies done on the voice recordings, originally done at the University of Oxford by M.A.…”
