Modelling and Assessment of Effect of Operation Parameters on Gas Turbine Power Plant Performance using First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics

Abstract: Abstract:In this study, modelling of gas turbine engine performance is carried out using thermodynamics relations. The model reveals that the influence of operation parameters such as compression ratio, turbine inlet temperature and ambient temperature has significant effect on the performance of gas turbine engine.
