ZUSAMMENFASSUNGAusgehend von der Wiederentdeckung religiös-spiritueller Therapieansätze stellt der Aufsatz die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen eines religionssensiblen Vorgehens in der Psychotherapie dar. Vor allem buddhistische Ansätze sind weit verbreitet, deren weltanschaulichen Grundlagen jedoch zu wenig reflektiert und kommuniziert werden. Es werden Merkmale einer religiös-spirituellen Grundhaltung beschrieben, die am Beispiel buddhistischer, islamischer und christlicher Ansätze verdeutlicht werden. Der Aufsatz plädiert für eine Grundhaltung der Offenheit bei gleichzeitiger Berücksichtigung der Behandlungsziele. Psychotherapeutische und spirituelle Behandlungsziele werden dabei unterschieden und letztere der Seelsorge zugewiesen.

“…The study of dreams and their interpretation in the literary remains from antiquity have become an increasingly popular access points to the phenomenological study of religious experience in the ancient world, as well as of the literary forms in which this experience was couched. In scholarship of classical antiquity, this is particularly well rehearsed in the study of Greek literature (see, for example, the studies of Messer 1918;Hundt 1935;Rousseau 1963;Brelich 1966;Meier 1966;Frisch 1968;Reckford 1977;Kessels 1978;van Lieshout 1980;Morris 1983; West 1987;Eitrem 1991;Miller 1994;Weber 1998;Holowchak 2002; De Jong 2006;Harris 2009). The study of dreams and their interpretation in the literary remains from antiquity have become increasingly popular access points to the phenomenological study of religious experience in the ancient world, as well as of the literary forms in which this experience was couched. This article considers the phenomenon of dreaming in the Hebrew Bible and ancient Jewish literature. I consider treatments of these dream accounts, noting the development in the methodological means by which this material has been approached, moving from source criticism, to tradition history, and finally to form-critical methods. Ultimately, I will argue that form criticism in particular enables scholars to discern shifts and developments across diachronic perspectives. Study of dream accounts is thus illuminating not only for the understanding of dream phenomena, but also for the development of apocalyptic and the method and means of early Jewish biblical interpretation.

Pøipojovat k ji tak nepøehlednému mno ství rùzných definic metafor ještì další, by bylo stejnì zbyteèné, jako vypoèítávat veškerou literaturu, zabývající se touto problematikou. Rovnì je zcela nemo né, tento historicky velmi starý pojem, který se bìhem èasu stal navíc pojmem velmi komplexním, analyzovat tak, aby bylo mo né zachytit veškeré formy jeho vyu ití èi šíøi významové škály.V oblasti výzkumu odborného jazyka je zájem o tento fenomén motivován nìkolika aspekty: -uplatnìní metafor je jeden z postupù, díky nìmu je obohacována slovní zásoba nejen obecného jazyka, ale stále èastìji i odborného jazykového stylu;-vìtší èi naopak menší vyu ití metafor je pøíznaèné pro jednotlivé typy odborných jazykových stylù, a lze jich tak do jisté míry vyu ít jako diferenènì-diagnostického prostøedku;-existence nepsaného zákazu u ívání metafor ve vìdeckém odborném stylu, jeho opráv-nìnost je ale stále èastìji zpochybòována, proto e pøedevším v novìjší odborné literatuøe je metafora chápána jako nezbytný element zprostøedkování vìdeckých poznatkù. U ívání metafor v odborném vìdeckém stylu je velmi èasto napadáno, ale i obhajová-no. Odpùrci argumentují pøedevším významovou mnohoznaèností na metafoøe vystavì-ných obratù a vìt. Takové formulace nepøipouští jednoznaèné logické závìry, a jsou tudí v rámci odborného vìdeckého stylu nepøípustné.Zastánci metafor naopak tvrdí, e zprostøedkování nových (pøedevším vìdeckých) poznatkù je ji dnes bez vyu ití metafor sotva myslitelné. Proti tomuto na první pohled logicky správnému tvrzení však lze namítnout, e v bì né ka dodenní komunikaci, v komunikaci jednotlivých øemeslných a prùmyslových odvìtví èi ve sféøe urnalismu, jsou vyu ívány metafory pøinejmenším tak intenzivnì jako v B u r k h a r d t e m uvedených "okrajových" oblastech jazyka. O tom, e by byl napø. sportovní komentátor ve svých reportá ích konfrontován s tak komplikovanými skuteènostmi, k jejich popisu nestaèí bì né výrazové prostøedky, nemù e být øeè. Ne nedostatek jazykových prostøedkù, ale naopak stylistická hravost a chu fabulovat jsou nejspíš opravdové dù-vody pro èasté pou ití metafor. B u r k h a r d t ù v názor, e nové a èasto pøevratné vìdecké poznatky jsou tradièním inventáøem nezachytitelné, zpochybòuje i T. Ickler, který pøedklá-dá jako protiargument snad nejznámìjší fyzikální objev 20. století -Einsteinovu teorii relativity, její komplikovaná a laikovi zcela nesrozumitelná problematika je shrnuta v "jednoduchém" vzorci E = mc 2 postrádajícím jakékoliv obrazné výrazové prostøedky.
