Superior rice seeds can increase production by at least 10%/ha, but this program must be supported by the availability of seeds, and easy access to seeds at affordable prices for farmers. One of the superior seed producers in Jember is the Seed Center Teaching Factory of Politeknik Negeri Jember. Seed Center products are distributed to areas around Jember, Bondowoso, Situbondo, Probolinggo, and several areas outside Java. Sustainable products are affected by product quality and maintaining customer satisfaction. This research aims to analyze consumer perceptions, measure customer satisfaction, and determine recommendations for product improvements and marketing strategies that appropriate consumer needs. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires while using SWOT analysis. The sample in this study included agricultural shops as regular consumers and farmers as direct users. The results show that all seed products are in great demand by consumers and farmers, namely Inpari 32, Logawa, Ceherang, and Sintanur. The biggest weakness is limited buyer partners, products not always available, and outlets far from the market. Besides that, the biggest opportunity is an abundant market and basic needs products supported by the government. The strength is that the products are complete business legality and certified seeds, affordable prices, solid team, and sufficient business capital.

Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) makes a significant contribution to the source of farmers’ income and the provision of employment opportunities. Tobacco plants are very susceptible to being influenced by the climatology and geography of the region. Na-Oogst tobacco is specifically cultivated in East Java in the Besuki Ex-Karesiden area which includes Jember and Bondowoso regencies, its mainly used for making cigars outside (dekblad), cigar dressings (omblad), and filling cigars (filler). Tobacco plants are sensitive to environmental factors including climatic factors, such as rainfall, humidity, and temperature. The climatic conditions of rainfall, both the amount and the distribution are very diverse so that it affects the growth, production, and quality of tobacco. Based on this, this study aims to identify characteristics, analyze and determine the modeling of the influence of climate factors on tobacco productions in Jember Regency. This is very important to do to determine recommendations and policies to increase tobacco productivity. The mathematical model of the analysis on Na-Oogst tobacco production in Jember Regency is Y = -362629 + 0.1285 rainfall + 2.93 rainy days + 16630 temperature – 1377 humidity with the coefficient of determination is 76.33%.

Iklim merupakan salah satu penentu keberhasilan swasembda gula di Indonesia. Curah hujan merupakan salah satu unsur iklim yang sangat penting dalam budidaya tebu. Sehingga curah hujan menjadi faktor penting dalam memenentukan rendemen tebu yang dihasilkan. Salah satu faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi rendemen tebu adalah dosis pemupukan.Unsur hara yang diberikan pada tanaman tebu turut mempengaruhi kadar gula yang dihasilkan tanman tebu. Rendemen tebu adalah kadar kandungan gula didalam batang tebu yang dinyatakan dengan persen. PG Asembagoes adalah salah satu pabrik gula yang ada di Jawa Timur milik PTPN XI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh curah hujan dan pemupukan terhadap rendemen tebu di PG Asembagus Situbondo. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisi regresi dengan curah hujan dan pemupukan sebagai veriabel bebas dan rendemen tebu sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan dan pemupukan secara simultan atau bersamaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rendemen tebu di PG. Asembagus dengan persamaan regresinya adalah y=4,373+0,0167Curah Hujan+0,0022Pemupukan dan besarnya koefisien determinasi 75,08%. Model regresi. ini diharapkan mampu memberikan rekomendasi serta kebijakan guna perbaikan produksi di PG Asembagus Situbondo.
