Model and calculation development of productivity of cotton harvesters

Abstract: This article provides a calculation of the performance of cotton harvesters. The previously proposed models of cotton-harvesting machines are described, as well as new developed models are offered. Based on a numerical study, a comparative analysis of MX-1.8 vertically spindle cotton harvesters and Keys 2022 horizontally spindle cotton harvesters is provided. The influence of the parameters of the cotton harvesters on their productivity is determined.

“…Until recently, agriculture has been mainly devoted to the cultivation of cotton and grain, and these crops, occupied the main part of the arable land in recent years, because of diversification of agriculture [1][2][3][4][5]. In addition to cotton and grain growing, great attention is being paid to the development of vegetable growing, policing, horticulture, animal husbandry, beekeeping, and fishing in the republic's agriculture [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]. Since cotton and grain were the dominant crops in Uzbekistan in the past, scientific and research work was carried out on the development of technologies and machines for tillage, planting, inter-row cultivation and harvesting or picking, which are mainly used in their cultivation, and a number of technologies and machines were created [15][16][17][18][19][20].…”

“…The world has taken comprehensive measures to decrease the manual work and energy expanses in agricultural production, resources saving, growing crops based on developed technologies and creating high-performance agricultural machinery, including less-energy technological processes in ploughing fields [4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]. Particular attention is paid to the development of technical means to ensure quality indicators [12][13].…”

“…There is a need for current and operational levelling of lands [1] are cited in scientific sources. According to the experience of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the productivity of uneven cotton, wheat, soybean, safflower and other cultures fields has decreased by up to 40%, the quality of cotton and other plants in the lowlands has decreased, and the length and strength of cotton have decreased [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]. To increase soil fertility and make full use of irrigated lands, levelling machines and tools, and quality levelling of arable lands are the main issues.…”
