Amaç: Teledermatoloji, dermatolojik bilgilerin telekomünikasyon teknolojileri kullanılarak uzak mesafelere iletilmesidir. Bu çalışmada, ülkemizde dermatologların teledermatoloji hakkındaki bilgi düzeyini, günlük klinik pratiklerinde kullandıkları teledermatoloji yöntemlerini ve teledermatoloji ünitelerinin kurulması durumunda sergileyecekleri yaklaşımları değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı kesitsel olarak planlanan bu çalışmada, 15 sorudan oluşan anket elektronik posta ile dermatologlara iletildi. Sekiz haftalık bir süre içerisinde tam ve hatasız doldurularak geri gönderilen anketler çalışmaya dahil edildi. Bulgular: Yüz on altı anketin değerlendirmeye alındığı çalışmada, katılımcıların %37.9'unun üniversite, %28'inin eğitim ve araştırma, %27'sinin devlet, %18.1'inin de özel hastanelerde çalıştığı gözlendi. Öte yandan katılımcıların %94'ünün, çalıştıkları kliniklerde teledermatoloji ünitesinin olmadığı, %50'sinin teledermatoloji hakkında az, %25.9'unun ise orta düzeyde bilgi sahibi olduğu saptandı. En sık (%43.10; 50/116) kullanılan teledermatolojik yöntemin dermatologlara elektronik posta yoluyla hasta resmi gönderilerek ("depola ve gönder") "danışma" şeklinde yapıldığı öğrenildi. Teledermatolojinin ülkemizde resmi olarak kurulup uygulanmasını dermatologların %55.2'si "çok fazla", %30.2'si ise "fazla" istediğini belirtti. Sonuç: Bu çalışmayla, birçok meslektaşımızın teledermatoloji konusundaki bilgileri sınırlı olmasına karşın, birçoğunun mesleklerini icra ederken teledermatolojiyi kullanabildikleri ve ülkemizde resmi olarak uygulamaya konmasına sıcak baktıkları ortaya konulmuştur. Підкреслено, що у мобільній медицині слід роз-різняти два великих напрямки, які надають взаємний вплив один на одного. Перший -це технології, пристрої, додатки і послуги для лікування і догляду за пацієнтами, другий -це системи і пристрої, призначені для контролю за дотриманням здорового способу життя (wellness) і фітнесу (fitness). It is emphasized that the mobile medicine should distinguish two major areas that provide mutual influence on each other. First is technology, devices, applications and services for the treatment and care of patients, the second are systems and devices for monitoring compliance with a healthy lifestyle (wellness) and fitness (fitness). There are highlighted the five most important tasks of mobile dermatology, corresponding to five cohorts of patients.

Background: The incidence of and death rate from cutaneous melanoma (CMM) continue to increase. Prior data suggests that more than half of CMM are detected by patients or their close contacts and that these patient-detected melanomas (PDM) present at higher stage than those found by physicians. As outcome is directly related to stage at presentation we undertook this study to identify strategies to improve timely patient detection of early CMM.
