This study investigates the significance of professional development and teacher motivation in the effective utilization of mobile technology in language instruction. It explores how these variables have a significant impact on the adoption and utilization of technological tools in language teaching. The study investigates the relationship between teachers’ motivation and the importance of comprehensive professional development programs that encompass pedagogical approaches and proficiency in mobile technology. The study followed a mixed-method research design with a sample of (n = 200) teachers and students. The results underscore the importance of a synergistic connection between professional development, technological integration, and teacher motivation to enhance language learning in digital learning environments. The study recommends that through targeted professional development and motivational tactics, curriculum designers and educators can optimize language instruction.

Sasak baluk olas scripts are the cultural heritage of the ancient Sasak people used to write in manufacturing books, ancient manuscripts, Sasak songs, inscriptions, or correspondence, which are very important to preserve. Therefore, this research developed a model and software for recognizing Sasak alphabets. This research is a model and software built using feature extraction zoning. In comparison, the algorithm used is the Self Organizing Maps (SOM) algorithm. Test results and level of accuracy ANN SOM in recognizing the Sasak alphabets are quite satisfying. Baluk Olas Sasak alphabets have become one of the compulsory subjects for students from elementary to junior high school. Complaints of students accommodated in the parents' questionnaire showed that as many as 52.86% stated that learning the Sasak language, especially the Sasak alphabet, was felt students to be difficult. These problems can be overcome with the technology they can be overcome with a new learning method in Information Technology, one of which is by utilizing Game-Based Smartphone technology. Baluk Olas Script Learning is implemented into an Android-based educational game using the Multimedia Development Live Cycle (MDLC) method and designed as attractive as possible, aiming for students' interest in learning the Baluk olas alphabet more increase. The results of community surveys, especially among children, "Baluk Olas Alphabet" Game got a good response as a media aid in learning the Baluk Olas script, with a percentage of 76,67% interested in the aspect of user friendly.

Knowledge of the Sasak script is very few Sasak people are interested in learning it. The writing system of the Sasak script is in danger of becoming extinct, so the local government must carry out literacy education so that the Sasak script does not become extinct from the face of the Lombok earth and must be applied to elementary and junior high schools, not only in the learning and teaching process. Directing children can be done by introducing them to the game-based Sasak baluk olas script. The Sasak script game based on KMP (Knuth Morris Pratt) Algorithm and ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which integrates game thinking and game elements has proven helpful in learning new knowledge. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to discuss how to develop applications for the Sasak Baluk Olas script on smartphones based on the Android system. designed based on the famous visual novel concept that combines multimedia elements including audio, animation, graphics, and images to make it more interesting and lively. All of these elements combine with gamification elements such as quizzes, rewards, badges, and feedback to make it a gamification application. Based on all the abilities of the Sasak Baluq Olas script, it can help potential users, especially elementary and junior high school students in Mataram City to increase the level of understanding and awareness of the Sasak script so that it does not become extinct
