“…After phosphine modification of catalysts, newly formed phosphorus species replaced partially polymerized vanadia species anchored on alumina surface. This is also confirmed by the presence of a new band at 1015cm -1 , characteristic of V=O stretching mode in isolated tetrahedral-coordinated VO4 [14,35,36,38,39], indicating the presence of more isolated vanadium species. Besides, the strong band at 923 cm -1 could be ascribed to asymmetric P-O-P vibrations of P2O7 2-[40-42], while the rather weak band from 1140 cm -1 to 1180 cm -1 is attributed to the V-O-P stretching of (VO)2P2O7 as suggested by Wu et.al [42], indicating the existence of very small amount of VPO species.…”

“…5 shows the Raman spectra of different samples. For parent catalyst, a relatively sharp band in the range of 950-1050 cm -1 is observed, which is ascribed to V=O stretching vibration, indicating existence of isolated and polymerized vanadium species [34][35][36]. Broad Raman band in the range 500-950 cm -1 can be attributed to V-O-V stretching and V-O-Al antisymmetric/symmetric stretching vibrations in polymerized VOx [22,35].…”

“…The importance of nanoscale architecture has been highlighted by the recent emergence of the outstanding catalytic performance of nanosheets of various systems owing to the high densities of active sites deriving from their high surface areas. [6][7][8][9][10] State-of-the-art heterojunctions based on nanosheet-structured oxides recently have shown great promise in energy and environmental applications. However, there are only a limited number of reports of these materials since most such structures are not inherently 2D (Table S1, Supporting Information).…”

“…Some of the popular methods for the denitrification of exhaust gases include selective catalytic and noncatalytic reduction, adsorption-based methods, and plasma-based methods [13,14]. Apart from wet denitration, several new technologies have been developed, such as complexation absorption, oxidation absorption, reduction absorption, and biological methods [15][16][17][18][19][20]. Among these methods, the complexation absorption method is considered as one of the most promising technologies for efficient wet denitrification [18][19][20].…”
