Mites associated with blackberry (Rubus sp. cv. Tupy) in two areas of Michoacan, México

Abstract: Damage caused by phytophagous mites is one of the main phytosanitary problems on blackberry crop. The mite species identification is a very significant activity to implement a program of integrated pest management. “…Los estudios referentes a familias y especies de ácaros asociados al cultivo zarzamora son escasos, mientras que aquellos que viven en plantas de zarzamora silvestre son inexistentes. En un estudio realizado en Brasil, Marchetti y Ferla (2011) reportan 12 familias de ácaros asociados al cultivo, mientras que en México, en dos municipios de Michoacán, Ayala-Ortega et al (2019) encontraron un total de 10 familias asociadas.
