Abstract: Severe asthma (SA) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways. Due to the extreme heterogeneity of symptoms, new biomarkers are currently needed. MiRNAs are non-coding RNAs that negatively regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level.
