Hadronemisca and Hadronemella, two additional Neotropical genera, resemble species of the Hadronema group by the short and wide head and prominent eyes, but the male genitalic structure is different (e.g., Carvalho, , 1984Carvalho, , 1985Carvalho and Carpintero, 1992;Carvalho and Costa, 1993).
