Minimizing Control Management Overhead for Scalable Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

Abstract: In this paper, we provide a parametric model for analyzing the control overhead usage in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET). In particular, we focus on evaluating the impact of the hierarchy of both topology formation and routing on the scalability of overhead usage.
