Minimal persistent inflammation in allergic rhinitis: implications for current treatment strategies

Abstract: SummaryPatients with allergic rhinitis have traditionally been placed into 'seasonal' and 'perennial' categories, which do not account for the subclinical inflammatory state that exists in many patients.
