“…The localities studied in this research are located on the Pacific coast and are rich in mangroves and dry forest due to its tropical sub-humid climate that have been declared Ramsar sites but with poverty conditions, and in response, households adopted migration (through remittances) and diversification into the tertiary sector, including CBE, as their main livelihood strategies [42].
