Midterm Outcomes After Surgical Management for Mitral Valve Regurgitation in Infancy

Abstract: Background Mitral valve repair is preferred for pediatric mitral valve disease. However, it is technically difficult because of complex lesions, poor surgical exposure, and tissue fragility, especially in infants.
