Ein Reflux aus der Harnblase in den Ureter oder das Nierenbecken ist unphysiologiseh*. Seine Ursaehe ist eine angeborene oder erworbene Insuffizienz des Ostium ureterovesicale2,es, 29. Bei Kindern mit chroniseher Harnwegsinfektion ist er h/~ufig**. Durch eine Operation am Ureterostium kann er meist beseitigt werden***. Eine erfolgreiche Refluxoperation verbessert die Heilungsaussichten einer ehronisehen Harnwegsinfektion3~, 5~ Daher mul~ bei allen Kindern mit therapieresistenter oder reeidivierender Harnwegsinfektion eine lgefluxuntersuehung durchgef/ihrt werden. Bis vor kurzem standen hierzu nur rSntgenologische Verfahren zur Verffigung. Diese haben einen hohen Grad an Zuver]/~ssigkeit erreicht, naehdem sie in langj/thriger Erprobung immer welter vervollkomranet wurden. Am besten bew/~hrte sieh die Miktionsurethrocystographie*. t~efluxuntersuchungen mit Radioisotopen werden im Gegensatz hierzu erst seit wenigen Jahren durchgeffihrt. WI~TE~ beriehtete 1959 als erster fiber diese neue MSgliehkeit 51. Die Zahl der bisher vorliegenden Beriehte fiber die Methode ist sehr sp/~r]ieh**. Sie erlauben noeh kein Urteil darfiber, welehe Ro]le die Radioisotope bei der l~efiuxuntersuehung fibernehmen kSnnen. Sieher ist jedoch sehon heute, dal~ die Untersuchung mit Radioisotopen nur zu einem Bruchteil der Strahlenbelastung ffihrt, welehe bei einer rSntgenologisehen Untersuehung unvermeidlich ists, as. Allein schon aus diesem Grunde ist zu wfinschen, da$ mSgliehst raseh ein gesiehertes Urteil fiber Zuverlgssigkeit End Indikationen des neuen Verfahrens erarbeitet wird. ttierzu soll die vorliegende Arbeit einen Beitrag leisten.
Patientengut und UntersuchungsgangBei 35 Kindern mit therapieresistenter oder recidivierender ttarnwegsinfektion jenseits des ersten Lebensj ahres wurden Refluxuntersuchungen mit RSntgenstrahlen und mit I~adioisotopen durchgeffihrt. Sguglinge blieben ausgeschlossen, weil wir
