“…Probably one of the reason for carbide agglomerates formation is the mixing process in dry conditions and the resulting segregation. On the other hand, the same mixing process was used for preparing the WC-5Co-2Cr 3 C 2 and WC-5Co-2TaC powder mixtures 15 and no carbide agglomerates were present in the microstructures.
