“…Yin et al (2017) [ 88 ] investigated grinding force ratio, surface roughness, and the material removal mechanism involved in micro-grinding of Zr-based metallic glass (BMG C Zr 70 Ni 10 Cu 20 ) 82 Ta 8 Al 10 and BMG D Zr 55 Cu 30 Ni 5 Al 10 ). They reported a decreased value of micro-grinding force with increased spindle speed.…”

“…An empirical model based on the simple single factor test, as proposed by this study, demonstrated optimum grinding parameters (grinding depth of cut of 6 μm, spindle speed of 60,000 rpm, and the workpiece feed rate of 20 μm) for achieving the best surface quality in BMG. A grindability study of BMG c , BMG d , and conventional polycrystalline metallic (brass H62) reported the highest micro-grinding force for BMG c and the lowest force for the brass H62, as shown in Figure 16 [ 88 ]. This is due to the fact that brass H62 has the lowest hardness as well as better plasticity both in hot and cold states.…”

“…Sun Y., Liu H., Zheng Q. in the paper " Experimental investigation of grinding force in microgrinding of ceramic materials using small grinding tool " describes the experimental study of cutting forces in microgrinding of ceramic materials [12]. In his work L. Yan, Ya-dong Ya S. G., Huang Z., Qiang L. describe the process of approbation the force model when microgrinding glass [13].…”
