Microarray Studies in Bacillus subtilis

Abstract: This review focuses on the construction of a global, comprehensive understanding of Bacillus subtilis through microarray studies. The microarray studies in B. subtilis were analysed based on the theme of the work, by mentioning the growth media, bioreactor operation conditions, RNA isolation method, number of data points analysed in exponential or stationary phases, compared genotypes, induction and repression ratios, investigated gene(s) and their positive and/or negative influences. Based on the theme and sc… Show more

“…Over the last few years, functional genomics approaches, including transcriptomics, have been increasingly used to obtain global gene expression profiles, thereby providing a comprehensive view of microorganism physiology [12,13]. Although the genome sequences of several L. garvieae strains from different origins have been published recently [14-21], such global approaches have not yet been used to study the transcriptome of this pathogen.…”
