Methodology for a comprehensive analysis of the construction projects’ accidents causes at various stages of their life cycle

Abstract: Today, accidents at capital construction facilities are encountered at various stages of the buildings’ life cycle, which is associated with errors in the design and construction as well as the rules violation for the buildings’ operation. Now there is no unified system of accounting and technical analysis of the causes in the current situation, therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to monitoring and methods of construction sites accidents causes’ complex diagnosis. The scientific research is devoted to … Show more

“…During the detailed assessment a thorough visual inspection of the building and its structural elements is carried out. Such measures are applicable to assessment of buildings that carry a potential danger and the possibility of collapse, as well as to determine the necessary restrictions on its use and determine the need for an engineering assessment [8]. A detailed assessment should be carried out with the participation of civil engineers, professional engineers specializing in structural design, and architects.…”

“…They considered the distance-to-grid connection (less than 25km) the technical adequacy of the terrain, and financial and permission difficulties. PB proposed the establishment of a potential number of CSP plants, as indicated in Table 3 [27]. Solar resources exhibit inherent intermittence; in the long term, however, solar energy is reliable and can be predicted to a manageable level.…”

“…The reason for the investigation within the framework of the forensic construction and technical expertise (FCTE) in many cases, are the events that caused an emergency or the appearance of defects in building objects, as well as in their elements [1]. FCTE at the same time is appointed for the purpose of obtaining the opinion of a construction expert on the issues that directly affect the establishment of the unvarnished truth for the case and making the correct decision.…”
