Abstract:Background: Abnormal secretion of incretins, particularly Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and oxyntomodulin (OXM), have been observed in individuals with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and PCOS.
