Abstract:Background: An abnormal secretion of incretins, specially Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and oxyntomodulin (OXM), have been described in subjects with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and PCOS.
