Abstract: Purpose: Knee arthroplasty and hip arthroplasty (THA) patients are susceptible to post-operative venous thromboembolism(VTE). Doctors are increasingly recommending the application of different thromboprophylaxis agents such as rivaroxaban. The agents are primarily effective in preventing thromboembolism after hip and knee arthroplasty.
