Abstract

He received his Doctorate in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from UCLA in 2010. His research interests include 18th and 19th-century Spanish literature. Krista Brune, is a graduate student in Spanish and Portuguese at UC Berkeley focusing on Luso-Brazilian literature and culture. Recipient of a 2007 Fulbright scholarship to Brazil, her research interests include modernism, cultural nationalisms, and the relationship between music and politics.
