Abstract:ABSTRACT:The epidemiology and clinical findings of scorpion stings in Sanliurfa region of Turkey, from May to September 2003, were evaluated in this study.Mesobuthus eupeus (M. eupeus) plays a role on 25.8% of the scorpionism cases.This study also showed that intoxications caused by M. eupeus in the southeast of Anatolia region were seen in hot months of the summer, especially on July.
