This research criticizes the phenomenon of language xenomania in relation to the implementation of Presidential Decree number 63 of 2019. The aim of this research is to describe the phenomenon of language xenomania in writing national competition pamphlets and describe the relationship of language xenomania to its implementation in Presidential Decree number 63 of 2019. This research uses qualitative methods, with data taken from social media Instagram in the form of national competition pamphlets. Data collection techniques use documentation and screen capture techniques, which are then analyzed using mark-reading techniques and translational techniques which are extralingual equivalent methods. From the research results, it was found that the national competition pamphlet which was analyzed contained 49 vocabulary words using English which were differentiated based on the position of the writing in the pamphlet. 9 vocabularies are found in the upper part of the pamphlet, most of which discuss the title of the competition being contested, 30 vocabularies are found in the body of the pamphlet, most of which discuss the provisions and benefits of participating in the competition, and 10 vocabularies are found in the bottom pamphlet, most of which are discussing cooperation and sponsorship. This phenomenon indicates that there are violations and things that do not heed the rules and laws for using the Indonesian language, specifically in Presidential Decree Number 63 of 2019. This violation indicates that users of the national language still seem to ignore the existing regulations regarding the use of the national language in public spaces, and still think that by using a foreign language, the object being linked will attract more attention.

Indonesian has a word formation variant as an effort to update the vocabulary. However, not many people who use language know the terms transliteration, absorption and equivalent words in Indonesian. This makes a word accepted without knowing the original word form. The purpose of writing this article is to describe vocabulary written in the form of transliteration, absorption, and also equivalent words in Indonesian. The methodology used in this study is content analysis by focusing on the text used as the object of study. The results of research findings conducted by researchers are the existence of vocabulary in the form of transliteration, absorption, and equivalents that are often used in communication. The researcher gives an explanation of a word that is included in transliteration, absorption, and equivalence. Keyword: word form; language update; language terms. AbstrakBahasa Indonesia memiliki varian pembentukan kata sebagai upaya pemutakhiran kosakatanya. Akan tetapi, tidak banyak masyarakat pengguna bahasa yang mengetahui adanya istilah transliterasi, serapan dan padanan kata di dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini membuat suatu kata diterima tanpa diketahui bentuk kata aslinya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk memaparkan kosakata yang ditulis dalam bentuk transliterasi, serapan, dan juga padanan kata di dalam bahasa Indonesia. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi dengan memfokuskan pada teks yang dijadikan objek kajian. Hasil temuan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu adanya kosakata dalam bentuk transliterasi, serapan, dan padanan yang sering digunakan dalam komunikasi. Peneliti memberikan penjelasan mengenai suatu kata yang termasuk ke dalam transliterasi, serapan, dan padanan.Kata Kunci: bentuk kata; pemutakhiran bahasa; istilah bahasa.

“…So far, literature studies that discuss language games tend to focus on patterns of particular interest and rely on three perspectives, namely: (1) constitutional texts and political language have language game rules with normative, factual characters, and play in language logic, even some of them contain pretense, so that they have a great influence, especially in the democratic system (Hartini, 2019;Salazar, 2021;Wilujeng, 2013); (2) the comedians use language games to be funny and attract the audience. This language game found deviations from pragmatic principles, namely the principle of politeness and irony language style (Lilaifi, 2019); (3) language games are used as an effective translation methodology in children's short stories (Sulistyowati, 2015); and (4) language games in da'wah texts and religious interests have broad implications, including attracting listeners' interest (Amanullah, 2021;Firdausiyah & Fikri, 2021;Ottuh & Idjakpo, 2020).…”

Each language has its own rules and pattern and a certain tendency. Language games are the rules of language for a particular purpose. Nawal Sa'dawi uses denotative meaning as criticism and disagreement about existing social phenomena. Therefore, this study aims to determine the form of language games in the book "al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi based on the perspective of Ludwig Wittgenstein. This study uses an interpretation method to express linguistic diction in books and their meanings as human expressions. This study uses Wittgenstein's hermeneutic approach to reveal linguistic facts from the book's narrative. The source of this research data is taken from the book "Al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi. Data collection techniques in this study used reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The analysis of this research uses the technique of analyzing the philosophy of language from Ludwig's perspective. The results of this study indicate that there are four kinds of language games in the book "al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi, namely: (1) emphasis; (2) feminist language; (3) sarcasm; and (4) subtle persuasion. This language game aims to reveal facts and as a form of assertiveness from its users upon request or support.
