“…Senescence associated genes (SAG), NAC-like (NAP2), and senescence-inducible chloroplast stay-green protein 1 (SGR1) expression levels are increased at the onset of senescence, while expression levels of photosynthesis related genes and chlorophyll biosynthesis related genes are downregulated [ 2 , 3 ].
