“…Previous studies have been inconclusive regarding the relationship between powerful others HLC and healthrelated behaviors. Results vary across a spectrum from a negative relationship (e.g., Norman et al, 1997) to no relationship (e.g., Grotz et al, 2011;Pourhoseinzadeh et al, 2017;Tapler, 1996;Wallston et al, 1992) or even a positive (Çepni & Kitis, 2017;Kim & Min Baek, 2019) association between powerful others HLC and healthrelated behavior. “…Most commonly within medical education, two types of theatrical tools are used today: Reader’s Theatre and simulated, or “standardized” patient encounters (Yaffe 1989; Tetel-Hanks 1993). These approaches are often used in the context of difficult subjects such as grief (Stokes 1980; Kim and Baek 2017), death and dying (Holleman 2000; Arveklev et al 2017), and breaking bad news (Rosenbaum and Kreitei 2002: Skye et al 2014). Yet these modalities generally do not allow for shared learning, as can happen in a group like a theatrical audience, or the witnessing of dramatized metaphors for real-life situations (Matharu 2009).…”
