“…First, TiNTs were synthesized by the hydrothermal method described previously. 29,30 Briefly, 250 mg of TiO 2 nanopowder (10−25 nm) was dispersed in 40 mL of a 10 M NaOH solution with continuous stirring, and then, the dispersion was transferred into a Teflon-lined stainless steel autoclave and maintained at 130 °C for 24 h. The precipitates were collected by filtration, washed with water and 0.1 M HCl alternatively, and vacuum-dried at 60 °C.
