MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF POWDER CoCrW-ALLOY PREPARED BY AM TECHNOLOGY

Abstract: The presented article focuses on measurements of extremely small dimensions in nanometrology using tactile probes. It addresses a newly developed method of precise measurements in nanometrology by touch probes, where the measurements are carried out on the machine SIOS NMM-1. The aim of this work is to determine accuracy of measurements on this machine. The main contribution of this work is a creation of a methodology for the measurement of precision parts and determination of accuracy of measurement when usin… Show more

“…In the experiment, a keyhole size of about 100-150 μm has been investigated and measured, therefore it is not a major influence on porosity, and it is recommended to reduce the scanning speed or change the scanning strategy and reduce hatch spacing. “…The potential of AM is fully realized by substantial research and development efforts, especially for complex metal components. The main reason for success is the industrial implementation of additive technology in the aerospace industry, which opens the way for wider applications in other industries such as biomedical and automotive industries [5][6][7].…”

“…AM technologies can achieve up to 90 -95 % of material savings. With the help of progressive technologies, it is possible to recycle the used powder material and increase the percentage of its utilization up to 100 % [7][8][9][10][11][12]. Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) technology is particularly important in PM.…”
