Measuring, Mapping, and Evaluating Daytime Traffic Noise Levels at Urban Road Intersections in Doha, Qatar

Abstract: In this study, equivalent hourly traffic noise levels at different intersections in the city of Doha, Qatar were measured and compared to the local and World Health Organization (WHO) thresholds. As part of the study, equivalent sound pressure levels, ambient temperature, humidity, and wind speed were recorded during the morning, afternoon, and evening hours on weekdays and weekends.
