The purpose of this research is to examine the readiness level of vocational college students for online learning according to various variables. The sample of the study included 334 (231 freshmen and 103 sophomore) students studying at a vocational college of a state university in Turkiye. Data collection tool used in the research consisted of Student Demographics Form and Online Learning Readiness Scale. Quantitative data obtained from the study were statistically analyzed with Three Factor MANOVA for independent groups. The findings showed that the average level of readiness for online learning of participants was at good extent, the dimension with the highest average was online communication self-efficacy, and with the lowest average was computer/internet self-efficacy. It was determined that the level of readiness for online learning of participants did not differ significantly according to the graduated high school, department and grade level. Readiness for online learning needs to be considered in detail to help all students use online tools for learning in order to get the most out of their post-COVID education. It is recommended that students be provided with opportunities to improve their readiness for online learning, which is necessary for them to continue their lifelong learning.

In Malaysia, the COVID-19 outbreak reported day-by-day positive carrier statistic increasing that force government action to impose movement control order (MCO); Malaysian stay at home to stop the virus from spreading fast. The MCO affects the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies undergraduate students who are just starting a new semester in the week fourth to stay at home while learning activities continue using Online Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The implications of online learning are the concern of university as a teaching method that is expected to improve students' academic performance by enhancing computer/Internet literacy competency (CIL), selfdirected learning (SDL), and motivation for learning (MOL) level. Does during the COVID-19 outbreak that spark anxiety and panic are suits for ODL activities? A survey conducted (n= 631) among undergraduate students to measure the level of ODL readiness. By using descriptive statistical analysis, this study found that CIL among undergraduate students is at a high level, while SDL and MOL reported at a low level. This study suggests the ARP initiative taken by the lecturer. The ARP refers to attention, recognition, and pressure less. The ODL seems new norms that should not hinder potential interactive learning for best academic performance and to drive excellent achievement. This study highly contributes a new idea to the lecturer, faculty management, the university and HEI as the best practice of ODL in the future.

The current demand of education has changed the teaching and learning processes from traditional face-to-face learning to online distance learning (ODL). This study aims to explore students' readiness in experiencing ODL. This study utilised quantitative approach to obtain the data. The instrument used was questionnaire with seven sections. The questionnaire was distributed to the Diploma and Bachelor's Degree students from public and private universities. The data were analysed using SPSS v 25 software and presented in the tables in the form of means, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Based on the results, there is a significant difference between students of different levels of education in terms of their readiness to undergo ODL. The six aspects of ODL readiness significantly determine how ready the students were in terms of availability of technology, use of technology, self-confidence, acceptance, self-directed learning, and training. It can be concluded that most of students seemed to be unsure whether they were ready to experience ODL in the aspects of the availability of technology and their acceptance to learn through ODL. Other than that, the students are almost ready in adapting themselves to go through ODL. The significant stakeholders such as, universities, faculties and educators need to have better understanding of students' readiness to undergo ODL and be prepared to experience more of ODL.
